Mysterious and aloof, Asher is appointed to protect Eve at all costs. Bound by his oath of loyalty to mankind, loving her is forbidden.

Can Asher and Eve fulfill their destinies or will their love destroy everything?
Revelation is a journey of self-discovery, love, and sacrifice.

THE BIRTH OF THE REVELATION SERIES
by Randi Cooley Wilson
As a reader, I’m a huge Paranormal Romance fan. Personally, I love that you can get lost in a book, and be taken on a journey, that pushes the limits of your imagination, and realism, to the point of belief. Mix into the story forbidden love, and angst, and I’m won over.
Over the years, I’ve literally read hundreds of books in this genre. While most have been amazing novels, I was beginning to crave something fresh and new. At one point, it felt like every story I’d picked up was focused on: vampires, werewolves or angels, and though those are some of my favorite storylines, I was becoming burnt out on these categories.
In 2008, I decided to create a new world of paranormal characters and fantasy worlds that had yet to be explored. I began The Revelation Series. I sat down to pen the story by writing the final chapter of the series, first. Then, I worked backwards and created each of the final chapters, to each book. Once each novel had an ending I then composed each book’s beginning. That’s right! Eve and Asher’s fate has been sealed since 2008, and won’t be changing.
Since I had never written a book before, to be honest, I really didn’t know what the pages and words in between the beginnings and endings would reveal. After staring at blank pages for what felt like a lifetime, I decide to put the book down. Life went on. I focused on work, friends, family and being a wife and new mom.
But the story was still there, under my skin, itching to be heard. It would literally wake me up in the middle of the night. The characters voices started as a soft rumbling. A line of dialogue, some witty retort and then at times, full-blown scenes of interaction. All of which, I wrote down, each time I heard them speak to me.
I kept sticky notes in every room, just in case. My husband started to worry about ‘the voices in my head’, but other than an occasional side-glance, he let me flitter about. Never questioning the little yellow squares all over the house with random words on them. Nothing really came of them though.
In 2014, my husband and I decided to move back to Massachusetts after a 15-year stint in California. While moving, I uncovered all my Revelation Series notes and at the encouragement of my husband, friends and family I began to write the story. In less than six months book one, Revelation was born.
It’s an amazing thing, the power of the written word. Words can impact your emotions, teach you things about yourself, take you to new worlds and expand your knowledge far beyond what we experience day-to-day. Hopefully this series will do that for you.
I keep going, focused on the tree-lined area in front of me. Just as I get to the path, Asher gently grabs my arm, forcing me to turn around so I’m facing him. Crap, he’s fast.
“What?” I screech, surprised with how quickly he got to me.
“Let me take you back to the dorm. It’s safer than walking through the woods of a college campus when no one is around,” he offers, nodding to the trees.
“Asher, I’ve done this a thousand times. Please let go of me.” I attempt to squirm out of his clutches.
It’s then I realize I’m still wearing his leather jacket. I put my coffee on the ground and move to take it off when a low growl emanates from behind me. I look up at Asher, startled.
His striking face pales and his horrified focus shifts behind me, locking in on the wooded area. In the blink of an eye, he grabs my upper arms, pressing me to his solid chest. Using a voice so low and uptight, I can barely hear him. “I need you to stay calm.” Well, shit, that can’t be good.
