Hi everyone! Thanks for having me here today! What can I tell you about Carson Granger?

He’s a modern-day cowboy. In fact, he’s an environmentalist, working to preserve the wild mustangs that roam his family’s ranch. He loves his saddle-horses, too, of course. He thinks Rory’s Labradoodle is a ridiculous dog – until he sees her in action! A trained service dog is an amazing thing. And Labradoodles are smart. Maybe not poodle-smart (I’ve got a poodle, I’m entitled to be biased) but still smart.

He likes good food, real food, and because his work is physical, he can eat whatever he likes and stay lean and mean. He makes a great cup of coffee and considers it an essential part of his morning.

His hair tends to always be a bit long… he forgets to get it cut. And it doesn’t matter, when it’s under his hat half the time anyway.

He was taught to be a gentleman, so he sometimes double-thinks himself when he’s interacting with women. Women can be so easily offended sometimes! But he doesn’t think it’s belittling to treat a woman with care, so he treats Rory very well!

Carson’s an alpha hero, a natural leader, but he’s also a wounded soul, though he’s not entirely aware of it. And, he knows how to apologize. He’s willing to admit when he’s wrong.

A woman can do a lot with such a man.

Does this kind of guy appeal to you? What do you like? What drives you crazy?

Three River Ranch

by Roxanne Snopek

Entangled Publishing – August 2012

Needing a fresh start from her two-timing fiancé, Aurora McAllister answers a realtor’s ad for a guesthouse on the beautiful, serene Three River Ranch. She shows up at Three River tired, heartbroken, and with no one but her trusty Labradoodle as a companion.

Cowboy Carson Granger has enough trouble in his life without adding a woman and her dog to the mix. There’s the untamed mustang he’s prepping to release into the wild, not to mention his father’s crazy will, which stipulates that if Carson wants to fully inherit Three River, he’ll need to find a bride. Carson wants nothing to do with love and especially not a marriage of convenience. But he soon realizes Rory, and everything she represents, might just be exactly what he needs.

Sometimes love arrives on your doorstep when you least expect it…
