Upcoming in February 2012
Happy belated Ground Hogs Day and an early Valentines Day everyone! It’s looking like an early Spring for those of us here at What the Cat Read. Normally we would be looking forward to the weather warming up, but at the present moment…we are itching for some actual Winter weather! If anyone can send a bit of snow down our way, we’d greatly appreciate it. 🐱
So, what’s coming up this month for us?
Well, we are proud to once again be participating in a tour for Laura Kreitzer’s newest book in her Summer Chronicles series! Sara enjoyed the first book so much she jumped at the chance to get her mitts on the second one. Look for her review of Forsaken Harbor to be posted on the 23rd of this month!
Also on the review front…we’ve got several upcoming reviews for you all to enjoy. A few of the titles include: Destiny’s Fire by Trisha Wolfe, Warm Bodies by Issac Marion, My Soul to Take by Rachel Vincent, Demon Does It Better by Linda Wisdom, and Midnight in Austenland by Shannon Hale. Yep, all of us have reviews that we need to get up so be sure to stop by regularly to see what is new!
Meanwhile we are also hoping to get a few special posts up as well. A favorite romance author of Buggy’s recently announced that her books are going to finally be available in e-book format and it is our hope to be able to not only feature her titles on our blog, but to also host an interview with her in the near future. Curious to know who the author is? Well, you’ll just have to wait for our official announcement. Sorry folks, no spoilers. Murr!
Also in the works: What the Cat Read is in the process of setting up affiliate ties with Mysterious Galaxy, an Independent Bookstore here in San Diego (and recently opened in Redondo Beach). Do be sure to read our upcoming post highlighting this wonderful store and all that they have to offer readers of all ages!
Lastly, it is our hope to have the first of our “Our Favorite Authors” and “Books We Are Looking Forward To” posts up this month. ~crosses paws~
Guess you can say that we’ve got a busy month ahead of us. Maybe we should demand more kibble. What do you all think?
Looking forward to seeing everyone as the month progresses. We hope you continue to enjoy our blog as much as we enjoy writing it. Happy reading! ~purrs~
