I would like to first start off by saying, “Happy New Years everyone!” Hope you all had a wonderful night with loved ones and that this new year is kind to you all. 🐱
After much talking and planning things out with the felines, we’ve come to the conclusion that we need to get our own domain name this year. At this time we are not entirely sure when this will happen or with whom we shall end up doing business with, but we will let you know when the move will occur and we promise to make it as easy a change over as possible.
Meanwhile, here’s just a brief glimpse of what to expect this new year:
- We will be playing catch up on some older reviews. Currently we are 9 books behind on the review list, so expect this month to be filled with new posts.
- This will be the year that I shall be playing around with html/css as well as wordpress in general in an attempt to make our blog more engaging to readers. Expect to see some changes in appearance and such as the year goes on. I can’t promise that some of the things I try will be great or even all that smart, but I do hope you bear with me as I learn the in’s and out’s of it all.
- With the start of the new year comes the start of our reading challenges! We’ve got a total of 4 going on and will most likely be adding one more to the list (it all depends on how the girls feel about starting another one). Please check back regularly to see how we are doing.
- New Posts topics: Posts about our favorite authors, books we are excited to see each month, and more.
As far as resolutions are concerned, we’ve not really made any other than to continue to bring you wonderful and enlightening posts as often as possible. There was brief discussion on trying to post something twice a week, but we decided against making any sort of promise of that nature simply because life happens (as was proven last year).
The felines and I are looking forward to see what this new year has in store for us all. Thank you to our loyal followers for making our first few months great ones and here’s to many more months of reviewing and book sharing.
Purrs to you all,
Cameron – the human behind What the Cat Read
