Review Policy
Thank you for taking the time to check out our blog! ~purrs~ We write our reviews out of love for the authors who dedicate their time to the art writing. We welcome review requests from authors and publishers, as well as recommendations from fans who visit our site.
Authors and Publishers:
If you are interested in having us review your book, please contact our human at Ldyskyfire@hotmail.com. We promise that she will get back to you in a timely fashion (the penalty for her not doing so is severe). We make it our policy to read and review all ARCs before their release date. If there is a time preference, please specify it in your request. We felines post our reviews here on our blog, as well as on Goodreads, Shelfari, Facebook, & Twitter. The following is a list of genres we are interested in, though we will take genres not listed if they tickle our whiskers:
- Fantasy
- Fiction
- Historical Fiction
- Mystery
- Non-Fiction
- Paranormal Romance
- Science Fiction
- Steampunk
- Urban Fantasy
- Young Adult
Our preferred formats are: Paperback, Hardcover, PDF/.doc, & E-books that can be read on Kindle for Mac.
Reviews will include the following: Title, Author, Cover Art, Synopsis taken from Goodreads, Amazon, or Author/Publishers website, Personal review, Source from who we received the book from, & Links to where readers may purchase the book.
Series: If you are requesting us to read a book in a series, please be willing to provide the previous books in that series if we have not already read them. In doing so, we will grasp a better understanding of the book and the series and that will reflect in our reviews.
Please take into consideration that all requests we accept do not guarantee a review post. We try to be honest and fair so if we don’t finish the book there will not be a review. Likewise, we pride ourselves on being honest in our reviews, so if we feel that a book was not enjoyable, we will rate it appropriately.
We again thank you for your interest in our blog and we appreciate all of your support! =^-^=

Hello. I adore your blog. The feline rating system is a delight and I’d love the chance to earn some paw prints. My literary mystery, Floats the Dark Shadow, is set in Belle Époque Paris. It’s coming out in September from BearCat Press. I was previously published by Dell and Avon in historical romance. If you like, I can send you a private link to my book trailer, which will give you a very quick idea of the feel of the novel. If you’re interested in reviewing it, I can send you the PDF, or a print out. Thanks for the charming site, Gayle Feyrer writing as Yves Fey (cat tender to Marlowe, Emily and Charlotte, the Flying Bronte Sisters).
I love your website and appreciate the time your team takes to review books. I’ll be sending one soon that I’ll be publishing in November. I wondered if some of your followers want to check out the first two chapters of my diaspora book. http://monicajwolfson.blogspot.com/
I’d like to note that I’ve been writing this book for five years, long before diaspora became trendy. At one time I was ahead, but now I am just mainstream.
Thanks,
Monica
